Does it slow down the page?
No. The extension only runs when you're on soundcloud.com, and idle when the overlay isn't open.
Does it download tracks?
No, and it never will. This is a listening tool, not a downloader.
Does it work on Firefox / Safari / Edge?
Right now, Chrome only. Edge usually works because it's Chromium-based, but it's not officially supported.
Why does it ask for permission to read soundcloud.com?
That's how Chrome lets the extension inject the player into the SoundCloud page. The permission scope is locked to soundcloud.com only — it can't read any other site.
Where does the cover-colour come from?
The extension samples the album artwork live (entirely in your browser) and extracts a vivid accent colour. The artwork itself stays where SoundCloud put it — it never leaves the page.
Is there a fullscreen mode for SoundCloud?
SoundCloud has no built-in fullscreen now-playing screen. This extension adds one: click the cover art in the bottom bar and the whole page becomes a fullscreen player, with the artwork blown up large and the controls fading away.
How do I get a Spotify-Canvas-style view on SoundCloud?
